Game mechanisms:
The hunter has to kill zombies in different areas (condos) on the map to recover the coins they have stolen. Click on the green button "Hunt" to start hunting. Then, click "Claim" to collect the coins you have gathered. As a strong zombie hunter, you should increase your power thanks to the items after each hunting session. The power value of the collected items can be upgraded with coin, up to level 8 to gain more power !
By default, the Backpack has 3 available slots. You can own max 13 slots. To increase the available space (slot), you can either:
- Collect the necessary items to create max 3 more slots (see Tool Box)
- Level up through missions to obtain 1, 2 or 3 more slots
- Buy max 4 additional slots (via Wallet or Market)
To create equipment, the hunter must collect the items listed in the Tool Box, upgrade them to level 8, and pay the required amount. All new equipment is permanent except for potions, which are single-use items. See Tool Box for details.
A hunting session lasts 3 hours with the basic shotgun or 6 hours with a vaporizer or 2.5 hours with an AK-420 ( other weapons to craft ). TIP: with an AK-420 you can progress faster from a condo to another. After each hunting session, coins are collected according to to the hunter’s power. Therefore, the higher the power, the more coins the hunter will collect. Since upgrading items power has a cost, it is important to collect coins quickly.
The hunter starts in the "training camp" area. This is the only place with a 0% tax and no handicaps (gas, spores, radiation, snow, rain, thunderstorms, or heatwaves). All other areas are subject to a 10% power tax (hence the decrease in power when raiding outside the Training Camp). The hunter can only move to neighboring areas unless they own condos. If the hunter owns condos, they can teleport from one condo to another.
The goal is to have high power level and create equipment in order to contribute the most coins to the communal pool during Airdrops events, to win $HUNT, convertable to TON. Be careful, the Airdrop area may be affected by radiation or other weather conditions and decrease your rewards if you don't have the right equipment.
What's on screen ?
Condo : Lists the condos (areas) you own. It also allows you to claim the 10% tax from the condos you own.
Backpack : Access to collected or created items (potions or additional slots). Where items’ power can be upgraded (upgrade item) and where items are used (limited on the number of items usable per day, depending on the hunter's level). Clicking on the hunter’s power value in the Backpack will show the power breakdown: total power (current power), bonuses based on the weapon used, maluses due to environmental handicaps on the current area, and the 10% condo tax.
Missions : Accomplish missions to level up your hunter and gather rewards.
Friend : Referral friends to this super cool game and get some benefits ! You will be able to claim 10% of their earnings. Friends are also required to level up. It is possible to buy Robo Friends in the Market or Wallet for 5 $HUNT, but these "special friends" do not give you extra earning. Be careful, new friends need to "hunt" at least one time to join your squad.
Toolbox : Allows you to see existing equipment and the materials needed to create them (all listed items must be leveled up to level 8), as well as their costs.
Example: Retrieve the bolt from the Bulldozer Yard Condo, upgrade it to level 8 in the Backpack, and collect the other items listed in the tool box to create an AK-420 or Shotgun at level 2.
Partners : Accomplish tasks like subscribing to partner channels to earn more coins and items !
CoinHunters Radio : Keeps you updated on game news and announces Airdrops.
CoinHunters Chat : A chat where you can ask questions about the game to moderators or other players. Be careful: sharing referral links is prohibited!
Market : Allows you to buy equipment using stars purchased on Telegram (see Telegram wallet). The CoinHunters Wallet (green, top right) allows you to buy equipment in $HUNT. In the Market, click on the equipment image to see the usage details. TIP: The reset egg allows you to reset the item usage counter to zero.
Daily Safe : Every day, you must find the CODE to open the safe and retrieve the item (there is a random distribution). There are 6 levels of safes, each with valuable items. The safe can be opened at the end of the countdown ("Next in"). To claim the item, you need to have a free slot in the Backpack. There is no limit to attempts to find the code (green arrow). After level 6, the safe returns to level 1.
Daily Wheel : Every day, you earn a spin ticket for the Daily Wheel. You can earn usual items or coins or "jackpot" items, but sorry, at the moment there is no more condos to win. If you want to increase your earn, you can buy spin tickets in the Market (see Wallet or Market icon).
Environmental factors:
There are 7 environmental factors on condos, which move randomly each day. They decrease the hunter’s power during raids on the affected areas (click on the icon to see the effects). During Airdrops, these handicaps may affect more areas. Radiation, spores, and gas handicaps cause a power reduction
for 24 hours each time you raid on it. To remove the debuff, use the appropriate potion (which can be crafted or purchased) or wait for the countdown to finish (You can see the countdown by clicking on the hazard icon). Good to know : there are equipments which reduce permanently the hazards impact and potions, that remove entirely the effect but they can be used only once. Returning to a contaminated area will reapply the debuff.
The heatwave, thunderstorm, rain, and cold stop once you leave the affected condo.
Handicaps can be accumulate! So be careful, at the end this can decrease a lot your farming rate !
By clicking on the hunter’s energy value in the Backpack, you will be able to see your active power: total power, power increase or lost decrease based on the weapon used, power reduced due to environmental handicap (which may accumulate), and power lost due to condo tax (10% - Only the beginner camp doesn't have any taxes).
Effects on condos:
Level up / missions:
Up to an energy level of 50,000 coin/h, the hunter is considered as a Newbie. When reaching 50,000 power / h, he appears in the ranking, but remain at Level 1 until he completes missions. By completing missions listed in the pink Diamond tab, the hunter can level up. There are 4 levels before reaching Elite 1, the highest level. At the Elite level, you can withdraw $HUNT from the Wallet, but not before. In missions, you must invite friends. To make this accessible to everyone, Robo Friends can be bought from the Market or Wallet. They count as friends but do not currently provide any extra coins. Each mission is rewarded with an item or coins. TIP : if you’re not Elite level, you can earn $HUNT during Airdrop to buy Robo Friends.
